Membership

How do I become a KIND member?

There are two options:

1. KIND friends (for casual players)

KIND friends are allowed to :

• Visit the club evening once for free and play with us.
• Play at the club-house, with the club games or their own, in exchange of a participation fee (2€ per session per person).
• Have the non-member access to the club forum.

Friends can decide to join our mailing list and be infomed about club sessions, events and other news.

2. Members (1st year)

Members are asked to fill the membership application, which is approved by recomendation by a senior member, and to pay the annual membership fee of 25€. The membership is valid from October to September. Members are then allowed to:

• Play at the club-house, with the club games or their own (no participation fee)
• Borrow one club game at a time, for a period of two weeks, provided it is brought back intact (any damage may be charged).
• Have member access to the club forum.
• Participate in club activities and events, and has insight into club work and reports.
• Vote on the club issues and elections on yearly or other assembly meetings.
• Enjoy the other club benefits

After first year of membership, the member can apply for senior member status, if they performed at least 5 hours of voluntary work for the club. Senior members can be then elected into the club organs and actively participate in creating club policies, and enjoy the club benefits for senor members.

Entry fees and other costs of visiting events, which are not organized by the club, are not covered by the club and are not included in the yearly membership fee. The club will try to get discounted group tickets and to organize affordable means of group transport to the event.
